Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of Lencop Campus (the software at app.lencop.com and any *.app.lencop.com subdomain), a product of Lencop Technologies Private Limited ("Lencop", "we", "us"), headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal, with a branch office in Rourkela, Odisha. By creating an account for a coaching centre or school ("Institute"), you agree to these Terms on behalf of that Institute. If you do not agree, do not register or use the service.

Lencop Campus is a multi-tenant software service for running a coaching centre's or school's day-to-day administration — students, teachers, attendance, fees, examinations, documents, communication and related modules, according to the plan the Institute subscribes to.

• The person registering an Institute must be authorised to do so on its behalf, and must be at least 18 years old.
• The Institute is responsible for the accuracy of the information it enters, for having a lawful basis to hold the personal data of its own students, staff and their guardians, and for keeping its login credentials confidential.
• The Institute is responsible for what its own staff do with the accounts it creates for them — Lencop Campus enforces permissions the Institute sets, but the Institute decides who gets which permission.
• Student, parent and staff accounts are created by the Institute, not through open self-registration — the Institute is responsible for informing them about how their data is used, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

• New Institutes get a 14-day trial on the plan they choose. No card is required to start a trial.
• After the trial, continued use requires an active paid plan (or the free tier, where the Institute's usage fits within it). We will invoice the Institute and, where a payment is overdue past the grace period, the account moves to a read-only state — the Institute keeps every record and can still view and print everything, but cannot add or change data until the invoice is settled.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly agreed with Lencop in writing.
• Plan prices and features may change; we will give notice before a change affects an existing paid plan's renewal.

You (and anyone using an account under your Institute) agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, or to store or send content that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Attempt to access another Institute's data, bypass the platform's security, or interfere with the service's normal operation.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to a third party as if it were your own product.
• Reverse-engineer or copy the software itself (as distinct from the Institute's own data, which the Institute owns outright).

The Institute owns the data it enters into Lencop Campus — its student records, fee ledgers, documents and everything else it creates. We do not claim ownership of it and use it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. An Institute may request a full export of its data at any time.

• An Institute may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion.
• We may suspend or terminate an account for non-payment past the grace period, for a breach of these Terms, or for activity that puts other Institutes' data or the platform's security at risk — we will make reasonable efforts to notify the Institute first except where the risk requires immediate action.
• Permanent deletion, once carried out, cannot be reversed. We recommend downloading a backup before requesting it.

We aim to keep Lencop Campus available and take nightly backups, but the service is provided on an "as is" basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for losses arising from downtime, data loss not caused by our negligence, or from an Institute's own misuse of the platform (for example, granting a wrong permission or removing a record by mistake). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date above, and where a change is material we will notify Institute administrators. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal.
